Measles Prevention

Measles crops up from time to time. It can be a very severe illness for some and is intensely contagious.

We recommend that everyone has TWO ‘MMR’ vaccines to be well covered, especially if you are in contact with a lot of people, at work or study.

The Ministry of Health is adjusting the MMR component of the children’s vaccine to ensure that children have their 2 MMRs before age 2 years.
